12 Inch × 5m Flexible Ventilation Duct for Hire in Nairobi
A blower without ducting only moves air around itself. This 12″ (300mm) × 5-metre flexible duct connects to the blower and carries the airflow deep into – or out of – the space you’re working on: down a manhole, into a water tank, across a basement or out of a spray room.

How Hiring Works
The duct is an add-on to a blower hire – book it together with the 8″ or 12″ blower and we deliver everything as one kit, connected and ready to run. Need a longer run? Tell us the depth or distance and we’ll bring enough sections.
GETTING THE BEST RESULTS
- Close the room first. Filtration and drying both work faster in a sealed space — open windows just pull in new dust and humid air (the exception is fume extraction, where you want an exit path).
- Run it longer than feels necessary. Air cleaning is a cycle, not a switch. For mould and smoke, keep the scrubber running 24 hours after the visible work is finished.
- Position for circulation. Place the machine so air has to travel across the whole room and back — a corner facing the longest wall beats a spot behind furniture.
- Point air movers low and along the floor. Angled across the carpet, not down into it — you want fast air skimming the surface to carry moisture away.
- Fix the source before you dry. A dehumidifier or scrubber can't beat an active leak or rising damp. Stop the water first, then dry.
- Duct to the bottom, not the top. In tanks and pits, heavy stale air sits low — deliver fresh air to the base and let displaced air escape upward.
- Ventilate before entry, not during. For confined spaces, run the blower well before anyone goes in, and keep it running the whole time they're inside.

How long should I book it for?
Standard hire is 3 days, which suits most odour, dust and single-room drying jobs. Water damage across several rooms usually runs 3–5 days; mould remediation and post-fire cleanup often need a week. Extensions are pro-rated daily, so book short and extend if needed.
Do you deliver and set it up?
Yes — anywhere in Nairobi. We position the machine where it will work best, connect any ducting, and show you how to run it. It then operates unattended, day and night if needed.
Can it run overnight or unattended?
Yes. These machines are built for continuous operation — that's how professional drying and air cleaning works. Keep the room closed, leave it running, and let it complete the cycle.
Can I hire more than one machine at a time?
